Happy Bolivian Independence Day! Today is our equivalent of 4th of July as Bolivia celebrates its 183th birthday of independence. Everyone has work and school off and there are a bunch of parades and a whole lot of Bolivian pride. There are about one million flags around town...on cars, buildings, everything! We were hoping to take the kids from one of the homes to a movie today for a special excursion but they are marching in an Independence Day parade with their school.
